The 5th Greene Boat & Motor 2010 Qualifier
was held this past Saturday at Lake Wylie with 41 teams entering and the
fishing was very good despite the usual heavy traffic that comes with fishing
Lake Wylie this time of year. There are two more Qualifiers left and, remember
fellows, you and your partner have to fish FIVE Qualifiers TOGETHER to be
eligible to enter the 2-day Championship. Subs can be used to advance your team
in the point standings but you cannot sub at the Championship. If your partner
cannot fish the Championship an angler can fish the Championship alone.
Thomas Vickers and Brian Huskins extended their point lead
and are putting a load of cash in their pockets along the way. They brought in
5 Lake Wylie bass weighing 19.88 lb s and also weighed in a 5.59 bass to take
home 1st Place Big Fish. All total they collected $1,860.00.
Thomas Richmond and Matt Simpson also brought in 5 heavy
Wylie bass weighing 19.59 lbs to take home $825.00 and 2nd Place.
3rd went to Stacy Richards and Brian Triplett
with another limit weighing 17.09 lbs and they received $500.00.
Coming in 4th were Roger Hoover and Scott Hamrick
who brought in 16.10 lbs and they collected $340.00.
Louie Hull and Chuck Montgomery finished up in 5th with 15.66 lbs and they took home $225.00.
6th Place went to Tim Chapman and Marc Leech with
15.50 lbs and they got $170.00.
2nd Place Big Fish weighing 5.55 lbs was weighed
in by Dan Moore and Artie Phillips and they received $240.00.
Next Greene Boat & Motor Qualifier is June 19th at Clearwater Cove Marina on Lake Wateree. We look forward to seeing you there!
