NEW FOR 2009: STRATOS 385XF Bringing features, performance and value with serious Multi-Species appeal
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (Sept 16, 2008) – The introduction of the Stratos XT Series in 2007 delivered an all-fiberglass, value packed fishing platform that caught the attention of tournament anglers, weekend fishermen and families across the country. The 1760DV, introduced by Stratos earlier this year, gave similar rewards to those looking for features and performance at a price they could afford. New for 2009, the Stratos 385XF is positioned to bring the same advantages – quality fiberglass construction, incredible value, serious fishing features –to multi-species fishermen at a price unmatched by the age-old designs of aluminum models. The Stratos 385XF is rated for a maximum 200 horsepower, giving it the agility and muscle to handle the chop of Lake Erie or long runs on Lake Oahe. With an overall length of 18 feet 6 inches and a broad 99-inch beam, the all-fiberglass 385XF delivers responsive handling and a remarkably stable fishing platform – even under the toughest fishing conditions. Featuring an inside depth of 25 inches, anglers and passengers will remain comfortable and dry during long runs, trolling or while fishing with a secured anchor. The Stratos 385XF comes with a 24-volt Minn Kota 70-pound trolling motor, Humminbird 323 electronics, no-feedback steering and starboard-side boarding ladder as standard equipment. Available in three configurations – single console, dual console and walk-thru windshield – the 385XF is packed with fishing features including an air-ride-equipped driver’s seat and a trio of custom-fitted, high-back folding seats that can be used in any of five pedestal positions – front deck, rear deck or cockpit – providing versatility when trolling and casting or with multiple anglers on board. With an oversized, aerated livewell with removable bait bag and an 8-foot center rod locker complete with a 12-tube organizer and a bevy of lockable storage under the front deck, the 385XF has space for anything a guide, tournament pro or family will need while on the water. Centered by 32 gallons of fuel capacity, bow panel switches and a console panel that displays speed, tach, fuel and trim, the Stratos 385XF also comes matched with a custom, Road Armor Equipped trailer featuring no-maintenance oil bath hubs, stainless steel fenders, brakes and a locking, swing-away tongue as standard equipment. Available with an XF Package upgrade, the Stratos 385 adds an additional host of features including an mp3 capable marine stereo system, a Universal Sonar equipped Minn Kota trolling motor, 5x2 on-board battery charger, snap-in carpet for easy cleaning and stainless steel handrails for rod holders, downriggers and other gear. For more precise positioning, the boat can also be factory rigged with a 9.9 horsepower kicker motor and Humminbird GPS system for $3,700 – making a fully-rigged, tournament-ready Stratos 385XF, complete with a 200 horsepower Mercury Optimax outboard, sell for an incredible $37,595* – thousands less than its aluminum competitors. With such a long list of standard features and factory-installed equipment, the only real surprise is the affordable price. * = 2009 Manufacturer’s suggested retail pricing based on package as listed
