SKEET REESE JOINS WITH STRATOS
CREATING THE
ULTIMATE POWERHOUSE OF PERFORMANCE
FLIPPIN, Ark. (May 27, 2010) –
Reinforcing a significant commitment to high performance on the
water, championship angler Skeet Reese has joined with Stratos® Boats, bringing
an elevated level of energy to the Stratos product line. An impressive
competitor, Reese’s angling career is highlighted by dozens of top ten BASS
career finishes and multiple high profile wins including the 2009 BASS Master
Classic Championship and 2007 BASS Angler of the Year title. It’s an elite level
of accomplishment that puts Reese in a class with only eleven other anglers who
have won both the BASS Master Classic trophy and BASS Angler of the Year
title.
Beyond his abilities to excel at the highest levels of tournament
fishing, Reese will continue a strong product development focus on the entire
Stratos line including the latest additions – a trio of Elite® Series Champion®
models that will be launched as part of the Stratos brand for 2011.
Built for pro-level fishing dominance, the addition of these models
only intensifies Stratos Boats’ reputation for aggressive performance, speed and
handling. Production of the elite trio - the 183, 202 and 210 Stratos Champion
Elite Series bass boats – is based on highly acclaimed, performance-based
designs. The new professional-level fishing platforms allow Stratos and
Champion loyalists to accelerate their competitive edge on the water by blending
power, performance, first-class fishing features and aggressive styling. With
18-, 19- and 20-foot configurations in the Stratos Champion Elite Series lineup,
anglers across the country will be able to match their new Stratos boat to suit
their fishing styles and destinations.
According to VP of Marketing,
Bart Schad, “The addition of the Champion Elite Series helps solidify Stratos’
position within the ultra-competitive world of professional-level bass fishing.
It doesn’t matter if you fish for a living, want to fish for a living or enjoy
spending your weekends on the water trying to win some money and a few bragging

aggressive, high performance - built to get the job done.” Schad added that
the Stratos Champion Elite boats are geared to provide anglers loyal to the
design and features of these rigs the opportunity to continue reaping the
competitive advantages of these great hulls.
When asked about the new
designs and his expanded role, championship angler Reese shared, “I couldn’t be

anything other than a 210. It’s such a phenomenal platform for someone like me

Reese, who won the 2009 Bassmaster Classic
and currently leads the BASS Angler of the Year rankings by an unprecedented
margin, joins with other Stratos Pro Staff that includes former Bassmaster
Classic champion, multiple FLW tour event champion and professional bass fishing
legend, Larry Nixon.
The new Stratos Champion Elite Series boats will
be built in Flippin, Ark., with production slated to begin in July in accordance
with the normal model-year changeover. While no official date has been set for
dealer delivery, Stratos fans will begin seeing the new Champion Elite Series
models at local dealers in Fall 2010.
