The 4th stop on the 2011 Greene Boat & Motor
Trail was on Lake Norman this past weekend and the weather was perfect! Little
cool in the morning turning over to a warm afternoon! We expected a lot of bass
would be caught and there were reports of some teams catching 50 to 60 bass but
we sure got a surprise when Jeff and KJ Queen brought in a heavy sack of bass
weighing in at 18.71 lbs to take 1st place. In their bag was a 5.25
lb bass, KJ reeled in good enough to take 1st place Big Fish pushing
their total winnings up to $1,754.00!
Aric Dwyer and Zack Bolick also weighed in a good sack at
14.93 lbs taking 2nd place and they weighed in the 2nd place Big Fish at 4.01 lbs. They collected a total of $941.00.
3rd went to Mark Swink and Gus Jones with a limit
of bass weighing 11.47 lbs and they received $455.00.
David Redman and Clay Williams took 4th with 5
bass weighing 11.11 lbs. They took home $310.00.
Hank Cherry and Craig Chambers finished in 5th place with 10.94 lbs. They cashed a check in the amount of $200.00.
Last money place went to Mark Hollman and Mike Easteridge
worth $170.00. Their bag weighed up at 10.42 lbs.
Next Greene Boat & Motor Qualifier is May 21st on Lake Wateree at Dutchman Creek Marina.
