Mercury Marine has announced a new warranty promotion. Any Mercury outboards (2.5 hp and above) sold from October 4, 2010 through November 30, 2010 and warranty registered by December 15, 2010 will earn a special retail promotion incentive. All Mercury motors (2.5 hp and above) will receive an additional two years of factory-backed warranty coverage. This is the Mercury Product Protection "Gold" Coverage.
If you choose to opt out of the additional two years of warranty, there is a consumer cash back rebate as well.
