INSIDEPROBASS.COM TO DELIVER RAW INSIGHT INTO PRO FISHING
Mayflower, AR, September 12, 2011 – Fishing and bass tournament fans have a new way to get
inside the intricacies of professional bass fishing with Insideprobass.com. The web site was developed to offer a raw, unfiltered look into the thoughts and lifestyle of several professional anglers at various points in their careers. The new blog‐type site will have limited advertisers and be heavy on original content.
Anchoring the site will be three seasoned professional anglers from the Bassmaster Elite Series Tour and an award winning outdoor writer. 1991 Bassmaster Classic Champion and recent retiree from competition, Ken Cook, will give his thoughts from the prospective of a true legend of the sport. Kevin Short, 2 time Elite Series Champion and one of the original and most widely read bass bloggers, will provide insight into the sport with a no non‐sense approach. Elite Series Champ and 6 Time Classic Qualifier, John Crews, will give an analytical look at pro fishing with some humor mixed in. The true writer of the group will be Don Barone. His unique style is sure to invoke deep thought, strong emotion, and more than a few belly laughs.
“There was not a true blog or column web site that gives people an inside look at what professional bass fishing is all about,” says John Crews. “Most people have to hunt and peck around for what the pros and industry insiders really think about various topics. Now there is one stop shopping for what is really being said and talked about in the sport of bass fishing.”
The web site will also feature various guest bloggers. Pro anglers from the FLW Tour, the PAA trail, and other B.A.S.S. Elite Series anglers are slated to contribute. Other guest bloggers will include industry insiders from bass boat companies, lure companies, outdoor writers, tournament trail employees, and more. Just like in life, Insideprobass.com will also feature a “Hot Topic” button, a la what’s being talked about around the water cooler, to give everyone an insider’s prospective on the hottest topics in bass fishing.
“Insideprobass.com is all about the reality of fishing for bass to pay the bills,” added Kevin Short. “We’re not concerned with making a compelling story, reporting on derby results, or doling out how-to tips. There are several other sites with more manpower that do a fantastic job at those things. Insideprobass.com is all about being real, being honest with the fans, and putting our fingers on the keyboards to try and give the bass fishing fan a true look into the lifestyle.”
