The 6th and last 2011 Greene Boat & Motor
Trail Qualifier launched out of Whittenburg Access at Lake Hickory with 21
teams entered. Cool air temperature was welcome and the fishing was good
despite the rough practice days some of the teams had reported. At the
conclusion of the tournament Saturday we have a total of 33 teams qualified for
the 2-day Championship on Lake Norman October 8-9 at Pinnacle Landing. Look for
a solid field and the competition should be stout. The 33 teams are listed in
bold print on the point sheet. Each team will receive information concerning
the Championship by mail or email in the near future.
Michael Fox and Tony
Shook brought in 5 solid Lake Hickory bass weighing up at 18.45 lbs and
took home 1st place worth $1,000.00!
Ted Geddis and Bill
Warren took 2nd Place with a limit weighing 17.51 lbs and they
also weighed in the 1st Place Big Fish with a 5.51 lbs bass. All
total they collected $794.00.
3rd Place went to Stacy
Richards and Brian Triplett with a limit weighing 17.17 lbs and they
weighed in the 2nd Place Big Fish at 5.39 lbs. They took home a
total of $306.00.
Greene Boat & Motor pro staff member Jody Wright and James Dyer finished at
the top of the points race and will receive $1,000.00 at the Championship!
Ryan Hinkle and Dan
Mullane came in 2nd Place in the points and will receive a brand
new Minn Kota trolling motor at the championship!
