I would have to say the 1st year of the Greene
Boat & Motor trail was a success, as we had over 80 teams enter at least one
of the 2010 Qualifiers. Next year will be even better and the schedule will be
out soon with a few minor changes that will enhance the trail. It looks like
after the 2-day Championship we will have paid out well over $40,000.00. 28 Teams are eligible to
enter the 2-day Championship and we will add a couple more places to the payback also. Check
the membership list and the teams and names in red are eligible to enter.
Championship entry fee is the same as the Qualifiers - $140.00 by mail or $150
at the ramp…blastoff is by order of payment and we will invert the field the 2nd day.
This past Saturday down at Lake Wylie Scott Hamrick and
Roger Hoover brought to the scales the winning limit weighing 16.67 lbs and
collected a check in the amount of $1,175.00.
2nd Place went to Thomas Vickers and Brian
Huskins with another limit weighing 16.21 lbs and they received $610.00. Thomas
and Brian also won the points and will received $1000! Their total winnings
total up to $4,825.00 so far and they have a chance to add to that total with
the Championship still to go.
Coming in 3rd were Bob Zerbe and Mike Smith with
15.48 lbs and they took home $400.00.
Chris Marshall and Travis England weighed in another limit
at 13.79 lbs and they collected 4th place and $250.00.
Mark and Albert McDaniel brought in the 1st Place
BF weighing 5.69 lbs and they received $420.00.
2nd BF and $180.00 went to Mike Richardson with a
5.48 lb bass.
